The mission of the Eel River Watershed Improvement Group (ERWIG) is to improve stream habitat conditions in the Eel River basin to benefit native stocks of salmon and steelhead.
ERWIG is a non-governmental, non-judgmental, non-regulatory, landowner-based organization with the technical skills to assist in watershed improvement projects.
Our primary goal, is to provide organizational and technical assistance to landowners and managers to develop local watershed action plans and implement specific projects which will benefit salmon.
