AmeriCorps
Watershed Stewards Project
The mission of the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards
Project is to conserve, restore, and sustain anadromous watersheds
for future generations through education and high quality
scientific practices. AmeriCorp members working at ERWIG assist
in watershed assessment and monitoring, stream restoration
projects, public outreach activities, and coordination with
local teachers to provide educational opportunities for students
including; classroom presentations, field trips, and Creek
Days Environmental Education Fair.
